Brazil - a Biodiversity Giant
A quick glance over the world map is enough to convey the importance of Brazil to our planet. Right away we are impressed by the size of this huge triangle - almost the shape of a heart - that stretches across 8,514,876 km², occupying 47% of South America, and accounting, singlehanded, for 5.7% of the world's upland.
But taking a closer look we discover other important features of this country of continental proportions. Divided into 26 states, by another one of nature's whim it can be totally occupied, without glaciers, deserts, or mountain ridges that might hinder human settlement.
The country has more than 16 km of inland borders and over a 7 thousand km of seaboard and, for such, it boasts a strong calling to pluralism, openness, trade, integration and peace. A country that welcomed (and still does) several ethnical groups, people who know how to live in harmony and take advantage of its diversity and unrivaled cultural wealth.
You are invited to find out more about Brazil and discover that more than its privileged physical territory this country has much more to offer the world: different kinds of perception, knowledge, skills, and the talents of its more than 191.47 million inhabitants.
With this and other credentials Brazil presents itself to the world, in search of new business opportunities. And Organics Brasil is very proud to help entrepreneurs of the Brazilian organics industry to increase their share in the international market, and thus make it possible to preserve the natural treasures that are so important for Brazil and for the whole human race.
